Coming Events & Announcements

  1. Youth Gathering – Mondays@7:00 p.m. If you would like to provide a snack or help out in any way, speak to Brandi.

  2. Kingdom Kidz team meeting Tuesday, August 28th @ 6:30 p.m. Sunday School classes resume for ages 6-13 on Sunday, September 2nd. Registration forms will be available on September 2nd and must be returned no later than September 16th.

  3. Tuesday is a day of prayer & fasting at Bonnyville Community Church. Please join Pastor Ken and other intercessors in praying for the needs in our church, community and nation. Prayer times at 7:00 a.m. & 12 noon.

  4. Eat and Pray – confirmed schedule for this coming week: Tuesday 6:30 p.m. @

  1. Block Parties – Pastor Ken has a vision to honor the neighbours in those neighbourhoods represented in our congregation. If you are interested in honoring your neighbours by having a block party, the church trailer, BBQ, tables, etc. are available to you. If you need help in planning a party, speak to Pastor Ken. Remember it takes steps of faith to change a community.

  2. Church Camp-Out – Friday, August 24th to Monday, August 27th @ Moose Lake Pentecostal Camp, Franchere Bay. Mark these dates on your calendar. Guest speakers are Brian and Sue West from Abbotsford, B.C. They will be speaking on Friday night; Saturday morning @ 10:00 a.m.; Saturday evening after supper; Sunday morning @ 10:00 a.m. and Sunday evening @ 6:30 p.m. This church gathering is always a blast! Brochures are available. Speak to Pearl.

  3. Bonnyville Community Church Community Party and Open House – Sunday, September 9th @ 10:00 a.m. There will be free food. If you have an idea to make that day more interesting or effective, speak to Pastor Ken.

  4. Living Proof Live Simulcast with Beth Moore and worship leader Travis Cottrell – Saturday, September 15th at our church. This one-day global simulcast will challenge women to be in God’s word. There will be coffee breaks and a lunch break. If you are interested in being a part of this event, speak to Rachelle.

  5. Hope for More – Celebration of Hope Festival – Saturday, September 22nd – 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Battle River Ranch south of Lloydminster. Camping is available but you need to register online. This non-denominational event will raise money for the Battle River Ranch and Hungry for Life. There will be many inspiration & motivational speakers from around the world, local artists performing, strong-man competitions, prizes, Kid’s Day Camp, concert performance by Jeremy Camp, and fireworks to finish off the celebration. Tickets are $20 or 2 for $30 (kids 12 and under free). Tickets are available during the break and you can sign up to volunteer. For more information; Sharon 780-812-3575 or Karla 780-826-8916.

  6. Small Groups-Connect Bible Studies – will be starting in mid-September. Plan to get involved. This is an important part of the Spiritual Growth-Discipleship process.

  7. Sunday Morning Lunch Break –We are going to give a new lunch break plan a try. The Church roster has been divided into 4 using family names as the cue. We are asking each family to consider bringing something for the lunch on the Sunday their family name falls on:

  • A to C – 1st Sunday; D to K – 2nd Sunday; L to P – 3rd Sunday; Q to Z – 4th Sunday; Whoever – 5th Sunday

You are under no obligation to participate. We will make changes to the groupings as the Church continues to grow. Thanks for your cooperation.

  1. For Karla, Bill, Marc and Bernard – Believe for God’s miraculous intervention.

  2. For continued transformation in our community and the Lakeland area.

  3. For growth in every area of ministry in the new church year.
